Cookie policy
No ads, no audience measurement, no tracking. HyperRank only uses two strictly technical trackers, which is why no banner asks for your consent.

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” works in a similar way, but its data stays on your device. The law requires your consent before any tracker is used, unless it is strictly necessary for the service or provides a feature you have explicitly asked for.
Trackers we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bv_contact |
HyperRank cookie | Secures the contact form (anti-bot, anti-forgery). Only set on the Contact page. | End of the browsing session | Not required: strictly necessary |
pp-theme-override |
Local storage | Remembers the light or dark theme you chose. Never sent to our servers. | Until you clear it | Not required: feature you requested |
What we don’t use
- No advertising or targeting cookies.
- No audience-measurement tools (Google Analytics or similar).
- No embedded social media buttons: the share buttons are plain links that store nothing unless you click them.
Third-party content
Fonts (Google Fonts) and some article images are loaded from third-party servers, which receive your IP address as with any web content. They do not set cookies through our site. Details in our privacy policy.
Managing or deleting these trackers
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings (“Privacy” or “Site data”).
Blocking the bv_contact cookie will prevent the contact form from being sent; you can still
email us directly at [email protected].
Changes
If we ever add a tracker that requires consent, a banner will let you accept or refuse it just as easily, and this page will be updated.
